I Can Do It
I learned how to dip my own fries in ketchup about two weeks ago. It makes me happy to be able to do it myself, even if sometimes I get more ketchup on my face and in my hair than in my mouth. Mommy tries to keep me clean, but Daddy says it's okay to get messy as long as I have a bath afterwards. Since I like baths A LOT this works out pretty well for me.
I am talking too. I can say "Mum". That was my first word. I've been saying it for a while now, but Mommy wasn't sure it was a real word until this weekend. She's pretty glad I can say her name. My next word was "Sat!" It means, "What's that?" I usually whisper it, and I've been saying it for around a week now. A few days ago Mommy noticed that whenever I get the phone I try to say "Hi" and this weekend I said "Dere!" for Gramma. Dere means, "There! I did it!" I say it a lot when I turn light switches on and off. Tonight I worked on saying ball too. I'll probably master it by tomorrow.
So those are my first five words and I'll probably be coming up with them pretty quickly now. So get ready everyone, because there's no telling what a fried egg like me is going to come up with!

Nice hair Sam. I can't believe you are starting to talk already. What a big boy you are.
Fried egg is absolutely right. This boy is just wild. I would really like to see what thoughts go through your head as you go about looking for things to get into. i love you.
LOL.
WAY TO GO SAMMY!
YOU ARE JUST AS SMART AS YOU ARE WILD. PROBABLY NOT A GOOD COMBINATION ON YOUR MOM'S BEHALF BUT IT WORKS JUST GREAT FOR ME.
SEE YOU LATER TONIGHT!!!!
Boy, Sam. You look like you are totally enjoying learning how to eat ketchup. You should just get a nice dog like Griffin (my dog) to help you clean up. Of course, then you wouldn't get to have all those baths.
