Look Who's Talking

Well. It's finally started happening for real. Sam is talking. I have a feeling that he is going to be saying even stranger things than Ben did, because he's fried.

Today he learned to say robo. Ben taught it to him. He chants it over and over while rocking back and forth with a Lego container on his head. Like a robot. LOL.
He can say shoes. It sounds more like "doos", but I don't think anyone would find it confusing as he usually says it when he brings his shoes to you. Generally this happens on our way into the basement which goes right past our shoe rack. It's so cute. He picks up his shoes and brings them to you and they're almost always a matching pair of his own shoes. Then he plops himself down on the step, which is where we always set the boys when we're getting ready to go outside, and holds out one of his little feet. He knows what he's doing. That boy loves to go outside.

He says ball all the time now. Including once on a stop over in the park with Foam Lake's water tower in it. That was a really big ball. Ha ha ha. He also says a version of Dada, Mum, pretty, kitty, juice, go, hi and bye. I love this part of baby-hood. The part where they really start to figure things out and their language blossoms. It's amazing. And so is my little Robo.
